In 1972, Minolta produced another model rangefinder from the Hi-Matic series with the designation 'F'.
This is a compact version of the predecessor, with a bright 38mm lens (f2.7) Rokkor. Compared to its predecessor it is much lighter (360g and previously 500g) and much more compact. The viewfinder has parallax markings and the CdS type light meter controls both the aperture value and the shutter speed.
